Bryce Denman Pease is my wife's uncle. At the time of this portrait Bryce was 83 years old. He lives on the Rocky Acres Ranch near Fort Jones, CA. Bryce worked in the lumber industry until he retired; raising his two sons and daughter in Weed, CA. near Mt. Shasta. Bryce has passed the ranch on to his son Tom and now spends his days reading books on the old west.
