Thomas William Selleck was born on January 29, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan. He is a television and movie actor, and is primarily remembered for his lead in the television series Magnum P.I. My favorite Selleck role is that of Matthew Quigley in the 1990 movie “Quigley Down Under”. Tom Selleck’s look in the movie, with his mustache and small goatee, is that of a swashbuckler. My favorite line from the movie is Quigley's dinnertime statement, "God made all men equal, and Sam Colt made sure."
