Clinton Eastwood, Jr. was born on May 31, 1930 is an American actor, composer, film director and producer. While his work as a director, on recent films like Letters from Iwo Jima and Flags of Our Fathers, have received a high degree of critical acclaim, Eastwood is best known for his tough guy, anti-hero acting roles typically in western films, most notably as the Man with No Name in Sergio Leone’s Dollars trilogy of Spaghetti Westerns of the 1960s, and Inspector “Dirty” Harry Callahan in the Dirty Harry series of the 1970s.
